Delete Your Account

You can permanently delete your account and data at any time. There are two ways.
In the app — immediately
- Open the banknote app.
- Go to Ayarlar (Settings).
- Tap Hesabı sil (Delete account) at the bottom.
- Review the summary of what you'll lose and tap Yine de devam et (Continue anyway).
- Enter your password and tap Hesabı kalıcı olarak sil (Permanently delete account).
Your account, your scan counter and all your data on the phone are deleted right away. If the password is wrong or the connection drops, nothing is deleted and you can try again.
By email — without the app
If you can't access your phone or have already removed the app, email
destek@getbanknote.com
from the email address your account is registered with, with the
subject Account deletion request.
We complete your request within 30 days at the latest and let you know.
What gets deleted
- Your account — your email address and password.
- Your scan counter records (the time and type kept for the daily limit).
- When you delete in the app: all receipts, spending, budgets, fixed payments, subscriptions and goals on your phone.
- When you delete by email, that data was never on our servers; if it's still on your phone, removing the app is enough.
Deletion can't be undone. If you want to keep your data, export it first with Ayarlar → CSV olarak dışa aktar (Settings → Export as CSV).
